Rep. Trey Rhodes Named Chairman of the House Game, Fish & Parks Committee

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Trey Rhodes (R-Greensboro) as the Chairman of the House Game, Fish & Parks Committee.

“I want to thank Speaker Jon Burns and the Committee on Assignments for entrusting me to lead this committee for another legislative term,” said Rep. Rhodes. “Georgia’s natural resources and great outdoors have always been extremely important to me, and I look forward to considering legislation that aims to preserve the heritage of our state’s wildlife and natural resources for our children and grandchildren for many years to come.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives. 

The Game, Fish & Parks Committee hears legislation that impacts Georgia’s wildlife, state parks and its other natural resources.

Representative Trey Rhodes represents the citizens of District 124, which includes Greene, Oglethorpe and Taliaferro counties, as well as portions of Clarke and Putnam counties. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2015 and currently serves as Chairman on the Game, Fish & Parks Committee.
