Rep. Victor Anderson Sworn in, Receives Committee Assignments for the 2021-2022 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – State Representative Victor Anderson (R-Cornelia) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 11, 2021, which was the first day of the 2021-2022 legislative term. In addition to being officially sworn in, the Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named Rep. Anderson to the Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, Governmental Affairs and State Planning & Community Affairs committees. 

“I am excited to have the opportunity to serve on these three House committees for the next two years,” said Rep. Anderson. “I have a history and passion for the energy and telecommunications sector, and as a former county commissioner and chair, I look forward to working to improve governmental and community relations and regulations.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Representative Victor Anderson represents the citizens of District 10, which includes portions of Habersham and White counties. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2020 and currently serves on the Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, Governmental Affairs and State Planning & Community Affairs committees.
