Rep. Peake Introduces Legislation Allowing Non-partisan Elections of Local Officials

ATLANTA—State Representative Allen Peake (R-Macon) recently pre-filed House Bill 682, which would allow counties to petition their local legislative delegation to make the office of county commissioner, along with other county-wide elected offices, non-partisan. Rep. Peake Introduces Pro-Life Legislation

ATLANTA—State Representative Allen Peake (R-Macon) announced today the introduction of House Bill 89, the “Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.” This legislation would ban all abortions after 20 weeks, protecting the lives of unborn children at a stage of development which medical evidence indicates that unborn children are capable of feeling pain.
