Reps. Houston, Greene Announce Upcoming FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance

ATLANTA – State Representatives Penny Houston (R-Nashville), chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Economic Development, and Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert), chair of the House State Properties Committee, today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will provide financial resources for families who incurred funeral expenses for a loved one who has died as a result of COVID-19 last year.

ATLANTA – State Representatives Penny Houston (R-Nashville), Clay Pirkle (R-Ashburn) and Sam Watson (R-Moultrie) encourage residents in Tift County to participate in the 2020 U.S. Census before the September 30 deadline. Rep. Houston Encourages Residents in Berrien and Cook Counties to Participate in 2020 U.S. Census

ATLANTA – State Representative Penny Houston (R-Nashville) encourages residents in Berrien and Cook counties to participate in the 2020 U.S. Census before the September 30 deadline. As of September 1, Georgia’s self-response rate is 60.2 percent, which is behind the national average of 64.6 percent.
