Lt. Governor Casey Cagle and Speaker David Ralston have announced their respective appointments to the High School Athletics Overview Committee. The joint committee was created pursuant to Senate Bill 288, passed during the 2014 legislative session, and is tasked with regularly reviewing the operations of Georgia’s high school athletic association. Gov. Deal Signs Rep. Mabra’s Legislation to Protect Accident Victims from Ambulance Chasers
ATLANTA—State Representative Ronnie Mabra (D–Fayetteville) commented today on Governor Nathan Deal signing into law House Bill 828. Sponsored by Rep. Mabra, HB 828 takes measures to protect accident victims from “ambulance chasers,” or attorneys and doctors who are eager for insurance claims. Georgia House Honors McIntosh High School Lady Chiefs Soccer Team at State Capitol
ATLANTA – State Representatives Matt Ramsey (R-Peachtree City), Virgil Fludd (D-Tyrone), Ronnie Mabra (D-Fayetteville), and David Stover (R-Newnan) led the Georgia House of Representatives in recognizing the McIntosh High School Lady Chiefs Soccer Team at the state capitol with House Resolution 148 on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
