Democratic Legislators to Introduce Resolution for Roe V. Wade Anniversary, Hold Virtual Press Conference Tomorrow

ATLANTA – House Minority Leader James Beverly (D-Macon), State Representatives Erica Thomas (D-Austell), Park Cannon (D-Atlanta), Shea Roberts (D-Atlanta), Rebecca Mitchell (D-Snellville), Renitta Shannon (D-Decatur), Erick Allen (D-Smyrna), Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn), Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia), Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta), Matthew Wilson (D-Brookhaven), Sandra Scott (D-Rex), Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna), Donna McLeod (D-Lawrenceville), Rhonda Burnough (D-Conyers), Shelly Hutchinson (D-Snellville) and Derrick Jackson (D-Tyrone) will introduce a House resolution to recognize the recent 49th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade. These legislators will also hold a virtual press conference to discuss abortion access TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 1 p.m. via Zoom. Reps. Anulewicz and Stephens Honor Girl Scouts Founder Juliette Gordon Low

ATLANTA – State Representatives Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna) and Ron Stephens (R-Savannah) led the Georgia House of Representatives in honoring Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low with House Resolution 1054 on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Rep. Anulewicz Stands in Support of Medicaid Expansion in Georgia

ATLANTA – State Representative Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna) joined the Georgia Democratic Caucus last week for a press conference where the caucus announced legislation to expand Medicaid in Georgia. During the press conference, representatives discussed barriers that prevent Georgians from receiving affordable health care and called on members of the Georgia General Assembly to support House Bill 669, the “Expand Medicaid Now Act,” which would provide for Medicaid expansion under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
