ATLANTA – State Representative Yasmin Neal (D-Jonesboro) yesterday submitted a letter urging the Clayton County Board of Commissioners to halt any consideration of Ordinance 2022-271, local legislation which would allow the Clayton County Board of Commissioners to fill vacancies of local elected officials, including the board.

Rep. Neal’s Legislation to Create HOPE Scholarship Small Business Grants Approved by House Subcommittee

ATLANTA – State Representative Yasmin Neal (D-Jonesboro) today announced that House Bill 1530, legislation to create HOPE scholarship small business grants, was recently approved by the House Regulated Industries Lottery Oversight-Gaming Subcommittee on March, 9, 2022.
