ATLANTA – State Representatives Angela Moore (D-Stonecrest) and Rhonda Taylor (D-Conyers) will partner with Rockdale County to present a free family-friendly ‘Holiday Peace Concert’ featuring the Lighthouse Junior Choir on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 4 p.m. at the Rockdale Auditorium in Conyers, Georgia.
“The Lighthouse Junior Choir Peace Concert is a musical event that has deeply touched the hearts of thousands of people across the country, and it is our hope that the citizens of Rockdale County will remember this for years to come,” said Rep. Moore. “In a post-pandemic world, many people often feel isolated and disheartened, but the Lighthouse Junior Choir is dedicated to restoring hope and joy to people’s lives by shining a bright light into the darkness in people’s hearts. I am enthusiastic to tour this fabulous Christmas Cantata throughout my district and in three separate counties, collaborating with other cities and fellow representatives during this most joyous season.”
This ‘Holiday Peace Concert’ is a professionally choreographed, culturally enriching production with a distinctive combination of performing arts by the Lighthouse Junior Choir. The choir is comprised of children from pre-elementary to high school and is designed to kick off the 2023 holiday season and bring inspiration.
