ATLANTA – State Representatives El-Mahdi Holly (D-Stockbridge) and Demetrius Douglas (D-Stockbridge) will host the “Lovejoy Matters” summertime town hall on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Lovejoy Community Center.
Reps. Holly and Douglas will host this event in partnership with members of the Lovejoy City Council. Lovejoy citizens will have a chance to meet their local and state officials. Light refreshments will be provided.
“Many Lovejoy families want to know how they can be better supported,” said Rep. Holly. “Rep. Douglas and I think there’s nothing quite like warm weather and cold mint lemonade to help share good times and, hopefully, spark meaningful conversations.”
