ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) has appointed the following individuals to the Georgia Palliative Care and Quality of Life Advisory Council:
- Rep. Sharon Cooper (R-Marietta)
- Aliesha Edwards, CTRS, CDP – Area Vice President, PruittHealth Hospice
- Kelly Erola, MD, FAAFP, FAAHPM – Chief Medical Officer, Hospice Savannah
This Advisory Council is created by House Bill 509 and will consult with and advise the Department of Community Health on matters related to the establishment, maintenance, operation, and outcomes evaluation of palliative care initiatives in this state.
