ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) has appointed the following members to the House Study Committee on Short-Term Rental Providers:
- Rep. Terry Rogers (R-Clarkesville), Chairman
- Rep. Matt Dollar (R-Marietta)
- Rep. Spencer Frye (D-Athens)
- Rep. Jan Tankersley (R-Brooklet)
- Rep. Tom Taylor (R-Dunwoody)
This study committee is established by House Resolution 810 and will study the best methods to ensure the safety of the public, prevent illegal practices, collect taxes on business activities, and otherwise properly regulate short-term rental providers.
