Speaker Ralston Announces Advisory Group on Legislative Leave

ATLANTA – Today, Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) announced the members of an Advisory Group on Legislative Leave. This advisory group will review Georgia’s legislative leave laws (O.C.G.A. 9-10-150 & O.C.G.A. 17-8-26) as well as the practices of other states to ascertain whether Georgia’s legislative leave laws should be modified. 

“I am committed to a thorough review of our legislative leave statutes, and I am confident this bipartisan group of legislators, lawyers, judges and others will offer an informed opinion on how we should proceed,” said Speaker Ralston.

The members of the Advisory Group on Legislative Leave are:
