ATLANTA – Today House Speaker Glenn Richardson named Representative Donna Sheldon (R- Dacula) to the Governor’s newly created Water Contingency Task Force.
Representative Donna Sheldon released to following statement:
“I am honored Speaker Richardson appointed me to serve on the water contingency task force,” said Rep. Donna Sheldon. “Water supply and planning are some of the most crucial issues facing not only Gwinnett County, but the entire state of Georgia.”

Representative Donna Sheldon represents the citizens of House District 105, which includes portions of Gwinnett County. She was elected into the House of Representatives in 2002, and currently serves on the Appropriations, Banks & Banking, Economic Development & Tourism, Ethics, and Transportation Committees. She is currently the Chairman of the House Majority Caucus.
