Rep. Hogan Commends Opening of Mobile Community Health Unit for Glynn and McIntosh Counties

ATLANTA – State Representative Don Hogan (R-St. Simon’s Island) commends the opening of a mobile community health unit for residents of Glynn and McIntosh counties. The Coastal Community Health Services (CCHS) specialized medical unit began operating at various locations across the two counties in October.

Rep. Greene Announces New Community Health Center to Open in Randolph County After Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center Closure

ATLANTA – State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) today announced recent efforts to open a CareConnect Health Community Health Center in Randolph County in light of the recent closure of Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center in Cuthbert. Rep. Greene will also participate in a press conference to discuss CareConnect Health’s new Community Health Center on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center’s Medical Clinic in Cuthbert (125 McDonald Avenue, Cuthbert, GA 39840).

Rep. Greene Commends Opening of Rural Health Clinic in Clay County, Touts State Funding to Expand Rural Health Care Facilities

ATLANTA – State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) commends the Mercer University School of Medicine for their commitment to opening a new primary care clinic in Clay County. Located in Fort Gaines, Ga. Mercer Medicine Clay County will begin seeing patients in early November, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for November 12, 2020 at 10 a.m.
