ATLANTA – State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia), along with the Georgia Black Owned Farm Tours organization, will host a tour event to highlight Black-owned farms and farm-to-table bistros around the metro Atlanta area on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. For information about each tour location, members of the press must contact Rep. ATLANTA – State Representatives Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia), Doreen Carter (D-Lithonia) and Billy Mitchell (D-Stone Mountain) will participate in the NAACP “Vaxx & Vote” caravan event on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Participants may meet in the parking lot outside of Big Lots (2738 Candler Rd.) in Decatur.

ATLANTA – State Representatives Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) and Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain), along with Derrick J. Wilson, The Promised Land Open Market, The Chad Livsey Project, Lettum Eat!, Guardian Financial Services and the Alpha Alpha Pi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., will host the third annual Back-to-School Block Party on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 4540 Lee Road SW, Snellville, GA, 30039. School supplies will be distributed from 12 – 2 p.m.
