Rep. David Clark’s Legislation Bringing Advancements to Healthcare Practices and Maternal and Infant Health Policies Signed into Law

ATLANTA – State Representative David Clark (R-Buford) recently joined Governor Brian Kemp as he signed House Bill 1046 into law. This legislation grants advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants the authority to complete and sign death certificates under the supervision of a physician and creates the Georgia Commission on Maternal and Infant Health.

Rep. Lauren McDonald, III and Forsyth County Legislative Delegation Express Support for Constitutional Amendment to Implement Impact Fees for High Growth School Districts

ATLANTA – State Representative and Governor’s Floor Leader Lauren McDonald, III (R-Cumming), along with members of the Forsyth County Legislative Delegation, stand united in their support for House Resolution 303 and its enabling legislation, House Bill 585, the ‘Georgia Development Impact Fee Act,’ which would aim to empower local boards of education in high-growth school systems, including Forsyth County schools, by granting them the authority to impose, levy and collect educational development impact fees.

Rep. David Clark Appointed to Deputy Whip Team for the 2019-2020 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – State Representative David Clark (R-Buford) was recently appointed to serve as a member of the House Majority Caucus Deputy Whip team. Rep. Clark was appointed to serve on the Whip team by House Majority Whip Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown), and his appointment is for a two-year term concurrent with his service as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives.
