ATLANTA – Today, in Forsyth, Ga., State Representative Devan Seabaugh (R-Marietta) stood alongside Governor Brian Kemp as he signed House Bill 451 into law. This bill, sponsored by Rep. Seabaugh, a licensed paramedic, extends supplemental insurance coverage to first responders diagnosed with occupational post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Rep. Devan Seabaugh’s Legislation to Combat Illegal Squatting Passes House

ATLANTA – State Representative Devan Seabaugh (R-Marietta) touts the Georgia House of Representatives’ recent passage of House Bill 1017, or the Squatter Reform Act. This legislation, sponsored by Rep. Seabaugh, would create the offense of unlawful squatting when someone enters and resides upon the land or premises of the owner without the owner or rightful occupant’s knowledge or consent.

Legislation to Provide Insurance for First Responders with PTSD Favorably Passed out of House Committee

ATLANTA – State Representative J Collins (R-Villa Rica), chairman of the House Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security, applauds the work of State Representative Devan Seabaugh (R-Marietta) and the members of the committee for recently passing House Bill 451 out of committee.
