ATLANTA – State Representatives Lee Hawkins (R-Gainesville), Emory Dunahoo (R-Gillsville), Timothy Barr (R-Lawrenceville) and Matt Dubnik (R-Gainesville) supported the recent vote on House Bill 531, legislation which would reform Georgia’s voting process. House Bill 531 passed in the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, March 1, and will now be considered by the Senate.

ATLANTA – State Representative Lee Hawkins (R-Gainesville) encourages residents in Hall and White counties to participate in the 2020 U.S. Census before the September 30 deadline. As of September 2, Georgia’s self-response rate is 60.3 percent, which is behind the national average of 65 percent.
