Rep. Park Cannon Joins Good Trouble Network, First National Network of Black LGBTQ+ Elected Officials

ATLANTA – State Representative Park Cannon (D-Atlanta) today announced that she has joined the founding cohort of the National Black Justice Coalition’s (NBJC) Good Trouble Network, which is the first national network of Black LGBTQ+ elected officials. The Good Trouble Network seeks to coordinate and synthesize political priorities that benefit Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer+ and same-gender loving (SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS.

Rep. Cannon Encourages Residents in House District 58 to Participate in 2020 U.S. Census

ATLANTA – State Representative Park Cannon (D-Atlanta) encourages residents in House District 58 to participate in the 2020 U.S. Census before the September 30 deadline. As of September 3, Georgia’s self-response rate is 60.4 percent, which is behind the national average of 65.1 percent; Fulton County’s response rate is 60.2 percent. Continue reading “Rep.
