Effingham Delegation to Introduce Legislation Amending Powers of Chairman at Large

ATLANTA— The Effingham County Legislative Delegation, comprised of State Representative Jon Burns (R-Newington),  State Representative Ann Purcell (R-Rincon), and State Senator Jack Hill (R-Reidsville), announced today plans to introduce local legislation that will alter the Chairman of the Effingham County Commission’s voting power and change this position’s ability to set meeting agendas for the county commission.
