City of South Fulton Legislative Delegation Elects Members for 2025-2026 Term, Rep. Debra Bazemore Elected Chair

ATLANTA – State Representative Debra Bazemore (D-South Fulton), along with members of the City of South Fulton Legislative Delegation, recently met to elect its delegation members for the 2025-2026 legislative term. Rep. Bazemore was elected Chair of the delegation and State Representative Robert Dawson (D-Atlanta) was selected Secretary.

“I am deeply honored to have been elected Chair of the City of South Fulton Legislative Delegation for 2025-2026 legislative term,” said Rep. Bazemore. “I am proud to work alongside of my fellow delegation members to ensure South Fulton’s voice is heard at the State Capitol. As we continue to build upon South Fulton’s progress, we will work tirelessly under the Gold Dome to secure the resources, policies and opportunities needed to enhance the lives of our residents.”

The following House members are also part of the City of South Fulton’s Legislative Delegation:

State Representatives Derrick Jackson (D-Tyrone), Inga Willis (D-Atlanta), Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta), Lydia Glaize (D-Fairburn), Mekyah McQueen (D-Smyrna), Sheila Jones (D-Atlanta) and Tanya Miller (D-Atlanta).

Representative Debra Bazemore represents the citizens of District 69, which includes portions of Fayette and Fulton counties. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 and currently serves on the Economic Development & Tourism, Governmental Affairs, Human Relations & Aging, Natural Resources & Environment and Small Business Development committees.
