Members of the committee will discuss House Bill 397, legislation which seeks to close a loophole in Georgia law that allows employees to not be compensated when they are injured while working. HB 397 was introduced by Chairman Werkheiser during the 2021 legislative session and will be eligible for consideration during the 2022 legislative session.
