ATLANTA – State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) recently convened the second meeting of the House Rural Development Council for the 2023-2024 legislative term at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. Rep. Greene was named co-chair of the House Rural Development Council, along with State Representative Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville), by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) earlier this year.

Rep. Mike Cameron Reminds Constituents of Tax Credits on 2023 Property Tax Bills

ATLANTA – State Representative Mike Cameron (R-Rossville) today reminds homeowners in House District 1 who previously filed a homestead exemption that they will receive a credit on their 2023 property tax bills. This credit comes as a result of the Homeowner Tax Relief Grants included in House Bill 18, the Amended Fiscal Year 2023 (AFY 2023) budget, which Governor Brian Kemp signed into law on March 13, 2023.
