Rep. Mike Cameron Commends Governor’s Gas Tax Suspension, Touts Benefits for Constituents

ATLANTA – State Representative Mike Cameron (R-Rossville) commends Governor Brian Kemp’s recent announcement that he will suspend the excise tax on motor and locomotive fuel to provide financial relief to Georgia families. Georgians will save 31.2 cents per gallon of gasoline and 35 cents per gallon of diesel fuel.

Rep. Carter Barrett Named Vice Chair of House Higher Education Dual Enrollment & Tuition Equalization Grant Ad Hoc Committee

ATLANTA – State Representative Carter Barrett (R-Cumming) was recently named vice chairman of the Dual Enrollment & Tuition Equalization Grant Ad Hoc Committee of the House Higher Education Committee. Rep. Barrett was appointed as vice chairman by House Higher Education Committee Chairman Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta).
