Local Female Athlete Recognized at Capitol

ATLANTA – Representative Stephanie Stuckey-Benfield (D – Atlanta) introduced House Resolution 225, recognizing February 4, 2009 as “Girls and Women Sports Day” and commending Georgia’s outstanding female athletes. Along with the resolution, Rep. Benfield was joined at the Capitol by several of the finalists for the Georgia Intersports Network Awards. House Agriculture Committee Announces Special Investigatory Subcommittee

ATLANTA – Today Representatives Billy Maddox (R-Zebulon) and Kevin Levitas (D- Atlanta) led a press conference announcing the creation of the Consumer Protection Investigation and Oversight Subcommittee.
