Rep. Lynn Smith Inducted Into Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry

ATLANTA – State Representative Lynn Smith (R-Newnan) was recently inducted into Marquis Who’s Who, a publishing company known for chronicling the lives of distinct individuals across the globe. Individuals profiled by Marquis Who’s Who are selected based on position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field.

“While it is an honor to be inducted into this historic institution, it is an even greater honor to be a trusted voice for Carroll and Coweta counties at the State Capitol,” said Rep. Smith. “I want to thank my constituents for choosing me and having confidence in me to be their servant leader for so many years. My life story would not be as rich and meaningful if I never had the chance to serve as their state representative.”

The publication highlighted Rep. Smith’s varied legislative career since first being elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 1996, including her appointment as chair of the House Natural Resources and Environmental Committee. Representative Lynn Smith represents the citizens of District 70, which includes portions of Carroll and Coweta counties. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 1996 and currently serves as Chairman of the Natural Resources & Environment Committee.
