ATLANTA – State Representative Mandisha A. Thomas (D-South Fulton) will host Nowruz Day at the Georgia State Capitol TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
Nowruz is a historic celebration of the arrival of spring that stems from the ancient Zoroastarian traditions. Due to its origins and symbolic representation today, many nations celebrate Nowruz. Nowruz is a time at which many people come together to celebrate concepts of unity, hope and renewal.
