ATLANTA – State Representative Mesha Mainor (R-Atlanta) will give remarks at the In The Trenches Community Impact Game Day event on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 12 – 4 p.m. at Anderson Park in Atlanta. This event is a new game show idea that seeks to bring together local nonprofits and community stakeholders to participate in competitive games and spread awareness about such organizations.
During the event, organizations will participate in games, such as the 40-yard dash, field goals, red zone flag football and football trivia, and the team that has the most points at the end of the games will receive a monetary donation courtesy of Ron Holland, Creator and CEO of In The Trenches. The following nonprofits and community stakeholder organizations will participate in the event: Teen Expressions, The 411 Brand, Everyone Eats Foundation, Hosea Feed the Hungry, Art In The Park, Georgia Officials Athletics Associations, These Urban Times and more.
Founded in 2018 by Ron Holland, In The Trenches is an interactive competitive sporting gameshow where fan bases compete in professional football style combine drills. In The Trenches was created to give sports fans a place to show their passion for their teams.
