“I had the great pleasure and distinct honor of presenting a new Georgia Flag to the faculty and students at Brighten Academy Charter School,” said Rep. Gravley. “During my visit, the students shared with me what they had recently learned about the Bill of Rights. I commend their teachers, Mrs. Cadman and Mrs. Camp, and am grateful for their invitation to visit the school. I am very proud of these students.”

The Brighten Academy Charter School was established in 2006 and operates under the Douglas County School District. In 2014, Brighten Academy was chosen by the Georgia Charter School Association as the Georgia Charter School of the Year.

“Brighten Academy is one of Georgia’s top ranked Charter Schools, and I am extremely proud to call them ours in Douglas County,” added Rep. Gravley.
