ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) issued the following statement on today’s appointment by Governor Nathan Deal of Appalachian Circuit Superior Court Judge Amanda H. Mercier to the Georgia Court of Appeals:
“Judge Mercier is a dedicated public servant and a judge who embodies dignity, integrity and fairness,” said Speaker Ralston. “Georgians should be proud to have such a capable and experienced judge joining the Court of Appeals. I offer her my heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved appointment.”
