Rep. Mike Glanton to Deliver Commencement Address to Everest College Graduates

ATLANTA— State Representative Mike Glanton (D-Jonesboro) will deliver the commencement address to graduates at Everest College. Rep. Glanton will address the students on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

“I am honored to be asked to speak to these soon-to-be college graduates,” said Rep. Glanton. “This is a monumental event in each of their lives, and I am humbled to be a part of that.”

Representative Glanton will speak to graduates of Everest College’s 4 Georgia campuses. There are approximately 500 students graduating, and between 2500 and 3000 total guests will be in attendance.

Everest College offers programs in Medical Assisting, Medical Administrative Assisting and Medical Insurance Billing & Coding, and specialized programs like Dental Assistance and Pharmacy Technician. In the metro Atlanta area, Everest College has campuses in Jonesboro, Marietta and Norcross, and their Atlanta West location.

Representative Mike Glanton represents the citizens of District 75, which includes portions of Clayton County. He was first elected into the House of Representatives in 2006, and was re-elected in 2012. He currently serves on the Appropriations, Defense & Veterans Affairs, Education, and Public Safety and Homeland Security committees.
