ATLANTA – State Representative Sandra Scott (D-Rex) will hold a virtual town hall on Clayton County’s property tax appeal process on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Zoom access for this virtual event can be found here.
Rep. Scott will be joined by State Senator Gail Davenport (D-Jonesboro). The following guest speakers have been invited to participate: Clayton County Tax Commissioner Danielle Smith; Emitte George Jr., chief appraiser for the Clayton County Tax Assessors Office; and LaGaylia Appleby, property tax consultant.
