Rep. Scott to Participate in Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Criminal Justice Reform

ATLANTA – State Representative Sandra Scott (D-Rex) will participate in a virtual town hall meeting to discuss criminal justice reform on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 7 p.m. To register for the virtual meeting, please click here.

During this virtual event, hosted by Young Georgians for Justice, Rep. Scott will discuss several criminal justice and police reform bills that she has introduced during the 2021 legislative session, including House Bills 15, 16, 17, 18 and 35.

“I am very excited to talk with Young Georgians for Justice,” said Rep. Scott. “As many of my constituents know, my legislation is driven by young people seeking true justice. We really need to look at criminal justice reform this session, and these real, common-sense bills will benefit the people of Georgia. It is my hope that these bills make it to the governor’s desk for a signature one day.”
