ATLANTA – State Representatives Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) and Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain), along with Derrick J. Wilson, The Promised Land Open Market, The Chad Livsey Project, Lettum Eat!, Guardian Financial Services and the Alpha Alpha Pi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., will host the third annual Back-to-School Block Party on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 4540 Lee Road SW, Snellville, GA, 30039. School supplies will be distributed from 12 – 2 p.m.

Rep. Kendrick Works to Ease County Licensing Requirements for Online Businesses in DeKalb County

ATLANTA – State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) recently worked with the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners to pass a local ordinance which will ease the county’s business licensing requirements for those who rent a private residence and operate a wholly online business from such residence.
