Gwinnett County Legislators Pass First Homeowner Property Tax Cut in 35 Years

ATLANTA – State Representative Matt Reeves (R-Duluth), House Majority Leader Chuck Efstration (R-Dacula) and a group of bipartisan state representatives from Gwinnett County today announced that the Georgia House of Representatives passed local legislation to create a property tax exemption for Gwinnett County residents. If the local ballot referendum is approved by the Senate, this legislation would give local voters a chance to usher in the first major Gwinnett residential property tax cut since 1988.

Georgia Legislators Announce Creation of First Formal Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander Caucus

ATLANTA – Members of the Georgia General Assembly today announced the creation of the first formal Georgia Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Caucus. Starting in 2023, Georgia will have the most AAPI legislators of any state legislature in the nation.
