ATLANTA – State Representatives Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna), Marvin Lim (D-Norcross) and Senator Elena Parent (D-Atlanta) will hold a press conference on the introduction of House Bill 1424 and Senate Bill 565, Georgia’s Right to Contraception Act, TOMORROW, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. in room 203 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building.
Reps. Lim and Anulewicz are lead sponsors of House Bill 1424 and Sen. Parent is the sponsor of the Senate companion bill, SB 565. This legislation would ensure comprehensive access to contraception for all Georgians.
Guest speakers will include Alicia Stallworth, Southeast Campaigns Director of Reproductive Freedom for All and Dr. Mimi Zieman, noted Atlanta-based Obstetrics Gynecologist and co-author of Managing Contraception.
