State Budget Includes $12 Million in Funding for Terrell County Juvenile Justice Program

ATLANTA – State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) announced that the state’s Fiscal Year 2015 (AFY 2015) budget, the state spending plan from July 1 to June 30, included $12.27 million in funding for a Regional Youth Detention Center in Terrell County. House Bill 744, the FY15 budget, was passed by both the House and Senate on March 18, 2014, sending it to Governor Deal’s desk for his signature. State Budget Includes Over $600,000 in Funding for Darton State College

ATLANTA – State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) announced that the state’s Fiscal Year 2015 (AFY 2015) budget, the state spending plan from July 1 to June 30, included $678,990 in funding for Darton State College. Rep. Greene Named Vice Chairman of Economic Development & Tourism Committee

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) as the Vice Chairman of the Economic Development & Tourism Committee. Rep. Greene also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety and the Secretary of the State Properties Committee, and as a member on the Public Safety and Homeland Security, Retirement, and Rules Committees. Rep. Greene Secures Funding For Local Health Center

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives today passed House Bill 742, the Fiscal Year 2013 (FY 2013) state budget. State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) successfully advocated for the budget to include start-up funds for a new Qualified Community Health Center in Randolph County, as well as increased funding for law enforcement needs throughout the state.
