Rep. Matt Dubnik Named Chairman of the House Education Committee

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently named State Representative Matt Dubnik (R-Gainesville) as the Chairman of the House Education Committee. Rep. Dubnik will also serve as Secretary of the Appropriations Committee and as a member of the Game, Fish & Parks, Higher Education, Interstate Cooperation, Juvenile Justice and Small Business Development committees. He will also serve as an Ex-Officio member of the Ways & Means Committee.

Rep. Matt Dubnik Named 2019 Family Medicine Legislative Champion of the Year by Georgia Academy of Family Physicians

ATLANTA – State Representative Matt Dubnik (R-Gainesville) was recently named the 2019 Family Medicine Legislative Champion of the Year by the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians for his commitment to advocating for physicians and patients. During the 2019 legislative session, Rep. Dubnik sponsored legislation that offers a state tax credit for physicians who precept nurse practitioners, physician assistants and medical students.
