ATLANTA – The House Rural Development Council, co-chaired by State Representatives Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) and Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville), will hold its first meeting of the 2023-2024 legislative term on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Georgia Farm Bureau’s headquarters in Macon. Georgia Academy of Family Physicians Honors Chairman Matt Hatchett with Health Care Champion Award

ATLANTA – House Appropriations Chairman Matt Hatchett (R-Dublin) was recently honored by the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians with its Family Medicine Legislative Champion of the Year Award. The academy selected Chairman Hatchett for his efforts and significant contributions towards improving health care in Georgia.
