ATLANTA – State Representative Michelle Au (D-Johns Creek), along with members of the Georgia Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Caucus, will participate in a rally to remember the second anniversary of the Atlanta spa shootings on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Blue Room at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta.
Speakers and performers at the Atlanta rally will include Robert Peterson, son of victim Yong Ae Yue; Michael Webb, former husband of victim Xiaojie Tan; Georgia House Minority Whip Sam Park (D-Lawrenceville); U.S. Rep. Lucy McBath; among others.
This rally is one of several “Always With Us: Asian Americans Rise Against Hate” events planned across the country to recognize this anniversary next week.
